Service, maintenance of the tower crane

Regular maintenance is necessary for any technique, especially for tower cranes. During the routine inspection, faults and hidden defects in the mechanisms can be identified. We recommend our clients to carry out a monthly inspection of lifting equipment. Service maintenance of cranes and crane runways includes the following operations:

• Assessment of the general condition of the equipment;
• Diagnosis of the technical condition of mechanical components and parts;
• Check the condition of the traction mechanism and brakes;
• Check of condition of metal structures (ТО2);
• Replacement of fasteners, gaskets, contacts, etc. (TO2);
• Diagnostics of serviceability of control automatics, electrical equipment and additional devices;
• Check of equipment operation after maintenance;
• Issue recommendations on further exploitation.

Types of service of the tower crane differ depending on the total load on the crane and the frequency of its operation. "Kiev Crane Plant" offers customers the choice of the following categories of technical or service maintenance tower crane:

1. SW - monthly maintenance.
2. Maintenance - periodic maintenance.
3. CO - seasonal maintenance.

At the request of the customer, it is possible to arrange the maintenance of the crane, which is carried out every shift and is not planned specifically. This includes inspection of metal structures, mechanisms and ropes, cleaning of the machine and lubrication of all components, checking mechanisms, safety devices and brakes in operation, inspection of the ways of the crane. Defects found during the inspection are eliminated on site without disassembling all components and mechanisms of the machine.
