PEDESTRIAN FENCES Retaining pedestrian barriers prevent pedestrians from falling from objects with significant differences in height - bridge structures and road subgrades. According to the location conditions, pedestrian restraint barriers are divided into:- Road ones installed on the edge of the roadside;
- Pavements stopped at the edge of sidewalks (holding capacity - at least 1.27 kJ).
- Restrictive pedestrian fences are designed to direct pedestrian flows, protect certain areas from pedestrians and prevent them from entering the danger zone, and prevent animals from entering the roadway or road right-of-way.
